Serenity Stretch & Sound with Lauren Hardie | 2:30pm - 3:45pm
Lauren is a nurse and Yoga teacher. She trained in Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga in Goa, India, with an interest to use these practises to rebalance and empower herself and others. Since her initial training she has expanded her expertise to breath work and sound healing.
This reoccurring workshop includes guided breath work to encourage deep relaxation and a dynamic vinyasa flow followed by slower, nurturing stretches - modifications and variations will be provided but you are encouraged to take it at your own pace and do only what feels good. To finish our practice Lauren will play crystal and Tibetan sound bowls to help you reach a more restorative, relaxed state.
Serenity Souls with Lauren Hardie | 4:15pm - 5:30pm
Lauren will be holding space for women and non-binary people affected by domestic abuse at any level. As a survivor turned advocate for domestic abuse, she’ll be offering a safe and supportive environment to share the practices that helped her rediscover strength, self-love, and self-forgiveness. These somatic practices are designed to retrain the brain, relax the nervous system, and bring the body into a state of homeostasis (balance). This session will include trauma-sensitive yoga, slow rhythmic and diaphragmatic breathing, guided meditation, journaling, tarot, and other spiritual practices. By coming together with a like-minded community, participants will experience co-regulation and mutual support, fostering growth and healing.
