1. Introduction
Welcome to Lucia's Loft Event Hire! These terms and conditions govern your use of our event space and services. By booking or using our facilities, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
2. Booking Process
To book Lucia's Loft, you must complete our booking form, providing accurate information about your event requirements.
We require full payment at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
Lucia’s Loft reserves the right to revoke booking abilities if it is deemed that the event / service does not align with the values of Lucia’s Loft.
Political events and fundraising activities held within Lucia’s Loft will not fall under “brand promotion,” and therefore not be included within the newsletter.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
Bookings are non-refundable, transferrable, and cannot be rescheduled.
Refunds will not be issued for cancellations due to inclement weather or circumstances beyond our control.
4. Facility Usage
Lucia's Loft is to be used solely for the purposes outlined in the booking agreement.
The sharing of keys and access codes is strictly prohibited and can result in legal action. The cost of any lost keys will incur a charge.
Candles are NOT permitted in Lucia's Loft or any other open flames, inclusive of indoor smoking.
Those using the massage bed must provide their own sheets/blankets that will be taken with them when they leave.
No pets are allowed in the space unless there has been prior written approval via email at hello@luciasloft.com.
For those using the yoga mats, please wipe down all mats with the cleaner provided at the end of your booking window.
All trash must be taken with you and furnishing returned to its original place at the end of your booking window.
Any damage to the premises or equipment will be the responsibility of the client and may result in additional charges to the card on file.
Any outstanding fees for damages or stolen property must be paid or will result in cancellation of future bookings without refund.
Lucia’s Loft is not to be used for any explicit content shooting, Only Fans production, or pornographic content creation.
If you are found to be using the loft outside of your paid booking times, it will result in immediate termination of booking ability and subsequent billing for time used that was not paid for in advance.
Photos and videos are permitted in the space, however all content posted online must tag Lucia’s Loft and credit the images/videos.
You agree to abide by all applicable laws, regulations, and venue policies during your use of the space.
5. Liability
Lucia's Loft does not represent any of the businesses that use the space within it.
Lucia's Loft is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during your event.
Clients are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits, licenses, or insurance for their event.
We recommend that clients obtain event insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
6. Noise and Disturbance
Clients must adhere to noise regulations and local ordinances. (Just please me mindful.)
Excessive noise or disturbance that disrupts neighboring properties may result in termination of the event and forfeiture of payment.
7. Catering and Alcohol
Clients may bring in outside catering services, if they have been given prior written approval via email from hello@luciasloft.com
Alcohol may be served at events with appropriate licensing and compliance with all legal requirements.
Lucia's Loft reserves the right to prohibit the service or consumption of alcohol if deemed necessary.
8. Cleaning and Damages
Clients are responsible for leaving the premises in the same condition as they found it (including resetting the room to the condition outlined in the booking confirmation, taking out all trash, cleaning up incense, sweeping/cleaning the floor, and cleaning the tabled surfaces if necessary).
A cleaning fee may be charged if additional cleaning is required after your event.
Lucia’s Loft reserves the right to charge the Client’s card on file if there are any damages to the property after their booking. Or if any items/furnishing are stolen.
9. Indemnification
Clients agree to indemnify and hold Lucia's Loft harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their use of the space.
10. Amendments
Lucia's Loft reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
Clients will be notified of any changes to the terms prior to their event.
11. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland.
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
